J. Lo Reveals Whether It Was 'Odd' to Dress As A-Rod's Ex Madonna for Halloween

The "Lonely" singer's decision to dress as Madonna for Halloween created a burning question for Cohen, who asked, "Was that not odd, given that Alex maybe dated Madonna for two seconds?"

After a quick laugh, Lopez, who earned Billboard's Icon Award earlier in December, responded, "Yeah, no, he doesn't ... I mean, that was so long ago. It wasn't weird at all. I loved it!"

The singer -- who appeared on the show to discuss her upcoming headlining performance for Dick Clark's New Year's Rockin' Eve With Ryan Seacrest 2021 -- also talked about whether she and the former baseball star would ever marry after postponing their wedding due to COVID-19 concerns.

"It was really sad because we were supposed to get married in June and we had planned it all," she shared. "So in March or April, we're looking down the pipe and we're going, 'This is maybe not gonna happen.' Italy's the worst place in the world, and we were going to get married in Italy. I was like, 'OK, we got to cancel everything.'"

"It was just a little disappointing. And then you just think to yourself, 'Well, things will happen in their divine time, in a way," she continued, before considering how Goldie Hawn and Kurt Russell have been together for decades without marrying. "But the same thing with, like, the Goldie thing and Kurt. You think: 'Do you have to? Should we?'"

"It just kind of gave us a moment to pause and think about it," added Lopez about tying the knot, something she and A-Rod had both done before. "I think it's something that maybe is still important to us, but there's no rush, you know. There's no rush. It'll happen when it happens."
