Britney Spears' Manager Denies Boyfriend Beat Her

Britney Spears' manager is shooting down reports that the singer was beaten by her boyfriend and former agent Jason Trawick, after two audiotaped conversations surfaced Wednesday in which the singer allegedly details the abuse to her ex-husband, Jason Alexander.

In the first audio snippet posted by RadarOnline, a female voice that the site claims is Spears' voice says she is no longer dating Trawick. When Alexander asks, "I thought he proposed to you or something at the beach," the voice replies, "Before or after he beat on me?"

The allegations were also reported by Star, whose new cover features a photograph of Spears sporting what appears to be a black eye.

Larry Rudolph, Spears' manager, told Access Hollywood that the female voice in the clip is "100 percent not [Spears]" and that the star plans to take "immediate legal action." However, RadarOnline Executive VP David Perel asserts that the recording is "100 percent verified." The site has since posted a second audio clip in which Alexander asks the voice allegedly belong to Spears why Trawick isn't in jail. The voice replies, "Because I didn't want the public knowing about it and I didn't want to file anything, so everyone could find out. So I've just left him and changed my number."

Along with Rudolph, an anonymous source close to the couple told People that the allegations are untrue. "Jason has never been abusive to Britney," says the source. "Britney has in the past been very difficult and has had tantrums around Jason, but he was and is nothing but patient with her...Britney and Jason lately have bene very happy together."
