Demi Lovato Attack Victim Waiting for Apology

Alex Welch, the tour dancer Demi Lovato punched in the face before entering herself into rehab, recently said that she's still waiting for an apology from Lovato. Representatives for Demi have said that the conditions of the Disney star's treatment have made it impossible to reach out to Welch, who sustained a black eye and a bruised cheek bone but no permanent damage. "We are in the process of engaging with Alex's lawyer and hope to resolve this as quickly as possible," a spokesperson for Lovato confirmed. (People)

Michael Jackson's iconic white, bejeweled glove -- from his "Bad" Tour -- sold for $330,000 Saturday (Dec. 4) at an auction in Beverly Hills, Calif. Other memorabilia that was sold at the auction included Johnny Cash's blue denim jumpsuit, worn during rehearsal for his famous San Quentin prison performance, and John Lennon's military-style jacket, worn during a 1966 Life Magazine photo shoot. Fergie Judges John Lennon Songwriting Contest, Launches Avon Voices Competition

Fergie will be pulling double duty this holiday season, judging not only the prestigious John Lennon Songwriting Contest, now in its 14th year, but will also be judging the inaugural Avon Voices Competition, which began Dec. 1 and will last through 2011. The Avon Voices campaign is divided into two parts -- a singing competition for women and a song writing portion for both men and women. At the end of the competition, two winners will be chosen for a chance to record a professionally produced album. The grand prize for the John Lennon Songwriting Competition this year is their largest ever, totaling more than $275,000, and the deadline for submissions is Dec. 15.

Britney Spears Spends Romantic Weekend In Mexico With Boyfriend

Britney Spears celebrated her 29th birthday in style this past weekend, at a private villa in Puerto Vallerta, Mexico with her boyfriend Jason Trawick. The couple, who spent last week battling rumors that Trawick had been abusive to the pop star, spent their long weekend sunbathing and relaxing. A source revealed that Trawick had also arranged a red velvet cake for Brit's birthday and that they "seemed very much in love." (People)

Jennifer Lopez the Newest Face of L'Oreal Paris

Aside from judging "American Idol," Jennifer Lopez can simply look beautiful as the newest face of L'Oreal Paris. The brand announced today (Dec. 6) that Lopez will be its newest "global brand ambassador," joining a roster of spokespeople that includes Milla Jovovich, Beyonce and Eva Longoria. Lopez will be a spokesperson for the new Feria Color line of home care color, and will appear in a TV and print campaign that launches Jan. 25 alongside Jovovich. This is the second major branding deal for Lopez in less than a month. On Nov. 18, she and hubby Marc Anthony announced the launch of his and hers lifestyle brands for Kohl's Department stores.
