Gary Barlow’s name might not jump out of the page for American audiences. It certainly does in Britain, where he’s a genuine pop superstar, a hitmaker with stacks of No. 1s and millions of tickets sold.
Barlow is, of course, a founding member of Take That, a boyband that has bagged 28 Top 40 singles in the U.K., 12 of which reached No. 1. They’ve ruled the U.K. Albums Chart on eight occasions, and won as many BRIT Awards.
