Chris Brown Finishes Domestic Violence Classes

Chris Brown has completed the domestic violence counseling sessions he was required to take as part of his sentence for assaulting ex-girlfriend Rihanna in 2009.

The singer confirmed that he'd finished the classes by posting a photo of his certificate of completion on Twitter. "I'm done with class," he wrote, later adding, "i have enough self respect and decency to be proud of accomplishing this DV class. Boyz run from [their] mistakes.. Men learn from them!!!"

Chris Brown Commended for Progress on Probation

At a Nov. 18 probation hearing, Brown was praised by Los Angeles Superior Court judge Patricia Schnegg for doing a "very commendable job" and being nearly finished with his domestic violence classes and community service. "No one has done a better or more consistent job than you have, and I really want to commend you for taking responsibility and for actually working diligently to complete all the things the court has required of you," the judge said.

Brown's new single, "Yeah 3X," is currently at No. 22 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart.
