Kourtney Kardashian arrives to the 2019 E! People's Choice Awards in Santa Monica, Calif., on November 10, 2019.

Kourtney Kardashian is supporting her brother-in-law's presidential run, taking to her Instagram Stories on Thursday (Oct. 15)  to share a mirror selfie sporting a "Vote Kanye" hat.

The photo came in conjunction with a Poosh article on her website about "the best voter merch," which included both Ye's items and nonpartisan pieces. "My favorite coming next slide," she wrote before posting the "Vote Kanye" selfie. She also included a "Swipe Up" link to Kanye West's campaign merch store where the hat can be purchased for $40.

Whether or not she will actually be voting for the rapper this year, the photo was met with harsh criticism on social media, since West's name will only appear on 12 states in the crucial presidential election on Nov. 3.

"this is so embarrassing @kourtneykardash," social media star Tyler Oakley wrote alongside a screenshot of the IG Story. "support progressive democrats down ballot, especially in swing states!!"

Others also chimed in, calling out Kardashian for her "irresponsible" use of her massive platform, where she has the opportunity to influence young voters. See below.
