Beginning in March, the late Beatles member's annual competition sought out talent from submissions sent from all over the world. But in light of the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, the JLSC created weekly "Stuck At Home" contests for songwriters, bands, artists and producers as a chance to win high-end home studio equipment and instruments from sponsors Yamaha, Audio-Technica, Focusrite, Genelec, K&M, Mackie, Neutrik, OWC, Reason Studios and Sonicbids.
With this week's announcement, Levy won with her song that hopes to "encourage kids and everyone to be safe during this pandemic!" according to the YouTube video description. The sing-a-long version of her 2-minute jingle features little children diligently washing their hands, sporting face masks on walks with their parents and bike rides with one another, and maintaining six feet apart from each other.
