Alicia Keys and John Legend perform onstage during "The Night That Changed America: A GRAMMY Salute To The Beatles" at the Los Angeles Convention Center on Jan. 27, 2014 in Los Angeles.

John Legend and Alicia Keys will take a VIP seat at their piano benches Friday, June 19 at 8 p.m. ET for a Juneteenth special edition of the "Verzuz" battles.

Created by legendary hip-hop producers Timbaland and Keys' husband Swizz Beatz to combat the boredom of staying at home due to coronavirus, this "Verzuz" battle will celebrate Juneteenth, the day slavery ended in America. It also marks the first co-ed artist competition as part of the popular IG Live showcase.

And this time around, Keys and Legend's musical square off tomorrow evening seems to be set up in the same room, as VerzuzTV's latest Instagram today (June 18) shows Keys' hot pink grand piano facing away from Legend's piano.

But this "Verzuz battle" calls for another celebration right after: DJ D-Nice will be spinning for his 50th birthday tomorrow on his Instagram account for the official online after party.

Tune in here, Friday, June 19 at 8 p.m. ET/5 p.m. PT.
