Arctic Monkeys have swung into the billionaire club.

The British indie rock outfit snag a major milestone as the music video for “Do I Wanna Know?” blasts past one billion views on YouTube, seven years after it was uploaded to the streaming platform.

“Do I Wanna Know?” appeared on the Sheffield outfit’s fifth album AM which, like all their releases before it, hit No. 1 in the U.K. AM also scooped the British album trophy at the 2014 BRIT Awards.

Directed by David Wilson with animation agency Blinkink, the stars of the clip are fluctuating soundwaves, similar to those that appear on cover of the parent album.

The band is on a serious streak. All six of their albums have topped the Official U.K. Albums Chart, dating back to their hugely-hyped debut Whatever People Say I Am, That's What I'm Not from 2006, through to their most recent LP, 2018’s Tranquility Base Hotel & Casino.

“Do I Wanna Know?” peaked at No. 11 in the U.K. and is one of 15 Arctic Monkeys singles to impact the U.K. top 40 singles. Also, it scored a Grammy Award nomination for best rock performance.
