On Wednesday (June 10), Vanessa Bryant paid respect to her late husband and daughter, Kobe and Gianna Bryant, with a set of new tattoos.

Filming herself in the process of receiving new ink, Bryant said she opted to get a "sweet message" from Kobe tatted on her. "I wanted my boo boo's @kobebryant sweet message transferred on me. ❤️@nikkohurtado came through for me," she captioned one of her videos. She thanked Hurtado again in another clip "for coming over and helping me get my Gigi's sweet message transferred on me. "

The famed tattoo artist followed up with a caring caption after reposting her video on his Instagram page. "Truly honored my friend. #ripkobeandgianna," he wrote on his post.

Kobe and Gianna were among the nine people who died in a helicopter crash in January. Vanessa recently shared an endearing post in tribute to her daughter in what would have been her eighth-grade graduation last week. "Congratulations on your 8th grade graduation Gigi. I love you forever and always. I'm so proud of you. ❤️, Mommy #classof2020."
