Courtney Barnett Performs ‘Sunday Roast’ From her Bedroom on ‘Fallon’: Watch

Courtney Barnett
Jeff Kravitz/FilmMagic for Clusterfest

Courtney Barnett performs onstage at the 2019 Clusterfest on June 22, 2019 in San Francisco, Calif.

Courtney Barnett is no stranger to The Tonight Show. The Australian singer and songwriter has performed on Jimmy Fallon’s late night show on several occasions over the years, but never quite like this.

Like the rest of us, Barnett is stuck at home. So she grabbed an acoustic guitar, dialed in and performed “Sunday Roast” from her bedroom in Melbourne.

"Sunday Roast" is lifted from Barnett’s sophomore LP Tell Me How You Really Feel, which won an ARIA Award in her homeland and went top 10 on the Official U.K. Albums Chart.

Barnett is in her element with an ax in her hand. Earlier in the year, she earned a nomination for Best Live Act at the 2020 Libera Awards, which will be held virtually on June 18, and made free to stream.
