Doja Cat and Nicki Minaj are having a purr-fect week. Their remix of Doja's "Say So" surged the tune from No. 6 to No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 songs chart, marking each artist's first leader on the list.
The remix was in a tight race with Megan Thee Stallion's "Savage," which also got a twist from Beyoncé. The Houston natives' collab clocked in at No. 2 on the chart, and Doja Cat was asked about her victory over the other female-charged remix of the week. The feline-named singer responded that, despite some opinions, no claws were out.
"Obviously, women have been pitted against each other, and this is f---ing so not that," she said during an Instagram Live on Monday (May 11). "We've climbed over that, and that's cool. That's f---ing cool. That's cooler than anything that I could f---ing imagine in this realm."
