Take a picture, it lasts longer. Keith Urban knows it. The Aussie country star is fresh from impressing folks around the globe with his performance at last weekend’s One World: Together at Home concert, and he’s back with a new release, “Polaroid.”
The new track comes ahead of Urban’s forthcoming studio album, due out later this year.
On it, he takes a trip back to the good old days, a time spent in vintage threads, having benders with his gal on a Saturday night, not a digital camera in sight. As it turns out, Urban has a photographic memory. “We've come a long way since we was drinkers in the basement/ At a party we hated, tryna make conversation/ The night it was taken, I didn't have a clue/That someday I'd be something more than just a boy in a Polaroid with you,” he sings.
