Kacey Musgraves contributed a subdued, moving performance of “Rainbow” to the One World: Together At Home concert on Saturday night (Apr. 18), offering a ray of hope to help viewers get through a difficult global period.
The country-pop star gave “a sincere thank-you to all the people out there risking their lives” prior to the performance, in which she played “Rainbow” on piano as images of hand-drawn rainbows flashed across the screen. The unadorned song was punctuated with Musgraves lingering on one of its lyrical declarations: “It will all be alright.”
