Jennifer Lopez and Alex Rodriguez attend the 2019 Vanity Fair Oscar Party hosted by Radhika Jones at Wallis Annenberg Center for the Performing Arts on Feb. 24, 2019 in Beverly Hills, Calif.

Following his inspiring "New York Tough" speech, Governor Andrew Cuomo launched a new social media trend, the #IStayHomeFor challenge, in which participants reveal who they want to keep safe amid the coronavirus crisis.

Cuomo, who is staying home for his mother, tagged Jennifer Lopez and Alex Rodriguez to take part in the challenge next. The couple uploaded a video to Twitter on Wednesday (April 8), revealing that they are "staying home to protect those on the frontlines, the doctors, the nurses and technicians that are working so hard to save lives at our hospitals."

JLo and ARod went on to tag Tonight Show host Jimmy Fallon to participate in the #IStayHomeFor challenge next.
