The 2020 festival was slated to take place between May 15-17 on the beaches of the Gulf Shore in Alabama.
AEG's beachside festival Hangout Fest has announced that it will not be able to proceed with the May 15-17 event due to concerns over the coronavirus. The three-day event took to social media today to announce that they are looking into possible dates for rescheduling.
"This morning we received notice from the City of Gulf Shores that Hangout 2020 cannot proceed in May due to COVID-19," the post reads. "After our fastest sellout ever, and what was shaping up to be a banner year on the beach, we are gutted that this is the outcome for all of you, but agree that this is the right decision for the health and safety of everyone involved."
