At iHeart's Living Room Concert for America on Sunday night (March 29), Demi Lovato sought to inspire viewers with her triumphant rendition of "Skyscraper."

Before her piano-tinged performance, Lovato issued a moving speech to the folks at home in distress over the rising COVID-19 pandemic, which has surged dramatically over the last two weeks in the United States. "Help the first responders," she said. "Do what you can to lift them up."

Skating back to her 2011 Unbroken album, Lovato's song choice was a fitting one for worried Americans in dire need of reassurance and confidence. "Go on and try to tear me down/ I will be rising from the ground, like a skyscraper," she roared over the keys.

Lovato was one of many music heavyweights gracious enough to perform at the one-hour special Sunday night, including Billie Eilish, Alicia Keys, Green Day, Foo Fighters, Tim McGraw and more.
