Kenny Rogers, the legendary "Gambler" who won over fans across generations with his pop, rock and country hits, died on Friday night (March 20) at the age of 81.

While millions are mourning the loss of the genre-crossing singer and songwriter, many of his famous fans and collaborators -- including his frequent duet partner and dear friend, Dolly Parton -- have taken to social media to express their grief.

"I loved Kenny with all my heart," she shared in a video she posted to Twitter on Saturday morning (March 21). "And my heart is broken. A big ol' chunk of it has gone with him today. I think that I can speak for all his family, his friends and fans, when I say that I will always love you."
