Jay Electronica performs during the 2016 Budweiser Made in America Festival at Benjamin Franklin Parkway on Sept. 3, 2016 in Philadelphia.

This week's new music showed the superstar strength of a rapper, from Jay Electronica releasing his long-awaited debut album A Written Testimony, featuring a bevy of bars from his Roc Nation label boss Jay-Z, to Lil Uzi Vert dropping Eternal Atake's deluxe version Lil Uzi Vert vs. The World 2 that could take off as its own project.

The Killers swoop in with "Caution," an all-too-common word in today's trying times with the coronavirus, and the rock band's latest anthem has a sing-along chorus with the power to unify friends and strangers alike.

Similarly, Rita Ora's new single "How to Be Lonely" isn't an overt reference to the social distancing folks are practicing as health measures, but rather an empowering anthem on being comfortable in your own skin.
