The video follows the double-release of new songs ‘Bad Child’ and ‘Can’t Be Happy All The Time.’

Move over “Dance Monkey,” Tones’ “Bad Child” has busted out.

Tones And I, one of the hottest breakthrough artists of the past year, returned with the video for “Bad Child” on Wednesday (April 8).

The visual -- produced by Visible Studios and Directed by Liam Kelly & Nick Kozakis -- features two kids playing in a big house, indulging in all sorts of remember-when activities, like building a fort out of sheets indoors.

“Bad Child,” with its punchy keys and fat bass, all sitting under Tones’ powerhouse vocals, has a pinch of the ingredients to her smash hit “Dance Monkey.” On it, she sings: “Feeling like I always do the wrong things/Telling all their friends that I'm the bad kid/Now I'm on my own, I lost my magic/Dealing with your bullshit now I'm over it.”

The video's release follows Tones' double-drop of "Bad Child" and “Can’t Be Happy All The Time,” her first new cuts since 2019’s The Kids Are Coming EP.

“Can’t Be Happy All The Time” is in a different, slower lane, its production stripped back to showcase Tones’ range.
