Cardi B is never afraid to speak her mind on politics, enemies, childbirth. She’s also weighed in on coronavirus.

The "Bodak Yellow" rapper shared her thoughts on the epidemic in a tongue-in-cheek video. The health crisis, she says, is confusing and it's apparently messing with your look.

"I’m a little scared. S*** got me panicking,” Cardi admits in the clip, posted by Complex. The Bronx native doesn't get the science behind it, or the reasons for its rapid spread. But she notes its origins in Wuhan, China have produced an unexpected outcome.

"A lot of s*** comes from motherf***ing China," she enthusiastically points out. "If you’re wondering why your weave or your fashion packages haven’t arrived," yep, that’s coronavirus, she says. "I'm telling you, s*** is getting real."

COVID-19 is no laughing matter. The disease has been linked to more than 4,000 deaths, according to the World Health Organization, and the live music industry is reeling as events such as SXSW, Coachella, Stagecoach and many others have either been canceled or postponed due to the outbreak.
