The ten-date arena tour of the U.K. and Ireland is scheduled to kick off Nov. 16 at Dublin 3 Arena, and wrap up Dec. 11 at Glasgow SSE Hydro, for what will be the band’s first trek since 2007’s globe-spanning Turn It On Again tour.
Genesis were inducted into the Rock And Roll Hall of Fame in 2010, a reward for a decades-long career during which the band shifted more than 100 million albums and inspired musicians everywhere who obsess over complex chord structures and lengthy improvisations.
Genesis had two distinct incarnations. The classic lineup that'll tour later this year was formed in 1976 following the departure of Peter Gabriel, and the arrival of Phil Collins, a road-hardened professional who would slot in on drums and take lead vocal duties.
The Last Domino ticket on-sale kicks off 9am GMT this Friday March 6 from www.LiveNation.co.uk and www.ticketmaster.co.uk.
