"Weird Al" Yankovic attends the LA premiere of Netflix's "Between Two Ferns: The Movie" at ArcLight Hollywood on Sept. 16, 2019 in Hollywood, Calif.

Sure, "Weird Al" Yankovic's got songs like "Germs" and "Party at the Leper Colony," but a coronavirus joke might be too far for the parody musician.

Amid the disease's increasing spread, fans were hoping for a twist on The Knack's 1979 hit, "My Sharona."

What did "Weird Al" think? "Yeah, no, sorry. Not gonna do 'My Corona,'" he tastefully declined via Twitter on Tuesday morning (March 3).

Fans were a bit disappointed by the update, sharing their thoughts, puns and lyric suggestions in the comments. "That’s too bad. It would go viral," one user noted.

While there won't be a "My Corona," you can still listen to "Weird Al's" already-existing (and less controversial) "My Sharona" parody titled "My Bologna."
