RuPaul has named Pete Davidson as her predecessor.

While hosting Saturday Night Live on Feb. 8, the legendary drag queen appeared in a sketch where he discovers Davidson's monosyllabic character Chad as the "next generation" of drag.

In the digital short, RuPaul plays himself doing a photoshoot for Drag Magazine. Growing tired of always covering the publication, RuPaul decides that the magazine needs a new, younger face: the aloof Chad.

Totally unaware that RuPaul is really a man, Chad plays along with his transformation into a drag queen, which everything from tucking to getting a full facial make-over.

Even after all of RuPaul's hard work, Chad doesn't quite fully cut it as a drag queen. But RuPaul still has faith that Chad is the chosen one.

"I can mold you into the next RuPaul, and if you want to be the best, you got to be best, you got to be willing to work your padded ass off," he says to Chad, who replies with complete disinterest.
