Don't you dare close your eyes! On Friday, two actors playing Aladdin and Jasmine in a U.K. production of Disney's Aladdin got engaged in a viral onstage proposal.

During the show's curtain call, Matthew Pomeroy, who plays Aladdin, got down on one knee and popped the question to his Jasmine, Natasha Lamb. "For the last four years, you have changed my life," he said as the crowd began to cheer. "Tash, I love you with all my heart. You're my best friend."

Following the proposal, Lamb opened up to the BBC about why it felt perfect that the moment happened onstage. "I'm still a bit overwhelmed, to be honest," she said. "It's the best way for us. We spend every day together onstage and shall carry on for however many more years to come."
