Christmas came early to New York City, and everyone (with an Internet account) was invited.

Stars of music and TV were on hand for the 87th annual Christmas in Rockefeller Center on Wednesday night, with The Voice coaches Gwen Stefani and John Legend, and Jon Bon Jovi among them.

On the night, Jon Bon Jovi performed "Unbroken" before rows of uniformed service men and women. The new song, which appears in the new Netflix documentary To Be of Service, tackles the subject of veterans suffering from PTSD and the service dogs helping them readjust to civilian life after combat.

Earlier, Stefani got the action started with "You Make It Feel Like Christmas" and "White Christmas,” while fellow The Voice coach Legend stepped onto the stage to perform "Bring Me Love" and "Christmas Baby."

The stacked entertainment lineup for NBC’s festive event also featured Brett Eldredge, Lea Michele, Julianne Hough, Derek Hough, Ne-Yo and appearances from the cast of Saturday Night Life and NBC’s Today team.
