Tones And I will make her U.S. TV debut next week.

The Aussie singer behind the global hit “Dance Monkey” is booked to appear on NBC’s Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, airing next Monday (Nov. 18).

All the planets have aligned for Tones And I (real name Toni Watson), whose monster track has now topped the charts in 16 countries and ruled the global Spotify and Shazam lists. In her homeland, the song enters a 15th week atop the national singles chart, equaling the all-time record streak set by Ed Sheeran’s “Shape Of You.”

In the United Kingdom, "Dance Monkey" is on a roll having logged six straight weeks at the summit. It's early in the chart week, but she’s well and truly on track to extend her reign in Australia and the U.K., Billboard has learned.

The singer and songwriter from Melbourne was discovered busking on the streets of Byron Bay two years this month. Now, she has the hottest song in the world, a leading eight nominations for the 2019 ARIA Awards, and she’s currently on her first European headline tour, all dates for which are sold out.

In February, Tones will embark on her first-ever North American jaunt in support of her debut EP The Kids Are Coming, with more European dates to follow. Also, “Dance Monkey” rises 51-41 on the Billboard Hot 100 in its fourth week on the chart.
