Chance The Rapper got some help from his sweet daughter Kensli before he launched into his first of two musical performances on Saturday Night Live.

On Saturday night (Oct. 26), Chance returned to the show to host and rap through two tracks off The Big Day, his debut studio album that dropped in July 2019. In between sketches, he picked up the mic -- and his trademark 3 hat -- and began the rap-centric portion of the program with "Zanies and Fools," his collaboration with Darius Scott and Nicki Minaj.

Neither artist joined Chance onstage, but he did throw to a video of Kensli singing the musical theater classic that inspired the title of his song. As the band and Chance prepared onstage, a clip of Kensli belting out "Impossible" from Rodgers & Hammerstein's Cinderella rolled: "the world is full of zanies and fools" is a lyric from the tune sung by Cinderella's Fairy Godmother in the musical, and it's clearly one of Kensli's favorites.

What followed was a magical performance, one that had drummers pounding drums that shook off gold glitter with every beat, fantastic dancers and Chance spitting fire over the inspirational lyrics that honor some incredible women and female role models (including the ladies of Destiny's Child) in Chance's life.

His next song featured a special surprise -- two, actually! -- as well. After an introduction provided by a nipple ring-sporting Jason Momoa, Chance threw himself into "Handsome" surrounded by cool blue neon and scrolling marquees. Megan Thee Stallion bounded out to offer her verses on the track, and the two hugged it out once they delivered every bar.
