Nicki Minaj is seen arriving to the 2019 Met Gala Celebrating Camp: Notes on Fashion at The Metropolitan Museum of Art on May 6, 2019 in New York City.

Guys, she was kidding.

Nicki Minaj sent the Internet into a frenzy when she spoke to Entertainment Tonight about a potential Adele collaboration. "Adele made me swear to secrecy that I'm not allowed to tell anyone that I'm working with her. And that we already shot a video. And it's an epic song," she said.

But on Wednesday (Oct. 16), the rapper took to Twitter to squash all our "Rolling in the Deep/Chun-Li" crossover dreams. "Omg guys," she wrote with two laughing emojis. "I thought everyone could clearly see I was being sarcastic."

She cheekily added, "Shit! Now I have to go to Adele’s studio & steal some files. Who’s in the UK? I got a job for you."

While Minaj is no stranger to collaborators, working will every high-profile star from Justin Bieber to Lil Wayne to Ariana Grande, Adele has yet to team up with a fellow artist.
