Jack Antonoff Announces Bleachers Mini Tour While Recording Third Album

Jack Antonoff is hard at work recording the next Bleachers album, but the frontman is feeling a bit of cabin fever. On Monday (Oct. 14), he announced the band's mini tour, aptly titled the "I Love Making This Album but I'm Also Losing My Mind in Here & Need to Come Out and Play" tour.

The three-date trek in December will hit Las Vegas, before heading to California's Sacramento and Anaheim. "album is very live and i want to record these shows and use some of it here and there," Antonoff wrote alongside the announcement on Instagram. "i’m close on the music but just need a few shows to clock some things and reconnect to make sure i’m where i want to be."

Thought Bleachers' upcoming third album doesn't have a release date or title, the record will follow 2017's Gone Now. In addition to the mini tour, the band will headline their own Shadow of the City festival in Ashbury Park, New Jersey, on June 27, 2020.
