Mariah Carey had some characteristically sassy comments following Nick Cannon's proclamation that he'd remarry her.

Just a few weeks ago, Cannon appeared on T.I.'s podcast, where he admitted he'd happily get back together with his "dream girl," whom he filed for divorce from in 2014. The two share 8-year-old twins Moroccan and Monroe.

"If she say we going to the moon, I'd say, 'Let's go,'" he remarked.

TMZ caught up with Carey in Beverly Hills, California, on Friday (Oct. 11), to get her opinion on the comments. "Remarrying? He’s making this up. This is him being silly," she insisted while getting in the car.

When the videographer asked if the chanteuse is "good with the single life for the rest of your life," Carey paused for a second, before giving her mic-drop response, "What is he? My last hope?"
