Miley Cyrus' tonsillitis recovery is going a bit smoother thanks to her new "BF," Cody Simpson.

The songstress referred to the Australian crooner as her boyfriend via Instagram story on Tuesday night (Oct. 8) as she anticipated him visiting her in the hospital. When the 22-year-old arrived, he came with a bouquet of red roses and a guitar to play an adorable song he wrote for Miley.

Tentatively titled "Golden Thing," the acoustic guitar melody features romantic lyrics like, "Deep blue jeans, movie screens, it’s a golden thing she’s got," and "I shouted the words in the first daylight and a chorus of words burst into sight/Now I know that I’m hers, for whatever it’s worth, by the rule that’s in the sky.”

"this sweeeeeetest guy came to visit at the hospital and sang the sweeeeeetest song he wrote just for me," Cyrus captioned the snippet of the tune, before adding that she's "pressuring" him to release the song next week. Simpson has yet to confirm if "Golden Thing" will make it to the public's ears.
