She also crushed Jimmy in "Name That Song" challenge.

She owns 10 Grammys, though Taylor Swift isn’t going to win any drinking contests. The pop superstar dropped in on The Tonight Show on Thursday night (Oct. 3), for what was meant to be a chat about her latest stint on Saturday Night Live

Those best-laid plans didn’t quite work out, thanks to some scheming by her mom and the late-show’s host Jimmy Fallon, who aired a clip of TayTay mashed on meds and turning weepy over a banana following lasik eye surgery.

Swift was less than amused at the unflattering footage being leaked and shared on national TV (and yes, around the globe on YouTube).

“I can’t even be mad,” she told Fallon. “I’m just impressed that you infiltrated my family. I don’t even know how you did that. Nobody has my mom’s number.” Fallon does.

As it so happens, Taylor is a bit of a lightweight with the heavy stuff. Recounting a recent mojito adventure which ended in the hashtag #DrunkTaylor, she admitted her attitude flips “from zero to legitimately thinking I’m a wizard in two drinks.”

Swift will appear on SNL this weekend, more than 10 years after she first appeared on the long-running show as a then-country singer on the rise. We know one of the songs she’ll perform on the night. The other, well, we’ll find out soon enough.

“I’ll probably do ‘Lover’ but in a way I haven’t performed it before,” she told Fallon. “And then I’m going to do a song that I’ve never performed at all live.” Swift also absolutely crushed Jimmy in a spirited game of "Name That Song," correctly picking out tunes by Britney Spears, Nelly, TLC and Sixpence None the Richer's "Kiss Me," the first song she learned to play on guitar. The singer also revealed the big ideas she's cooked up for next year's series of Lover Fest shows.

Fleabag star Phoebe Waller-Bridge will host this weekend’s episode of SNL, which is now into its 45th season.
