Taylor Swift's 'SNL' Promo Is Just a Little 'Too British'

Taylor Swift is basically an honorary Brit at this point -- just take a listen to the song "London Boy" on her latest album Lover or take a look at her best friend Ed Sheeran -- but Phoebe Waller-Bridge takes the Anglophilia a step too far in the brand-new Saturday Night Live promo.

This week's episode will be hosted by the Emmy-winning Fleabag actress/writer with Swift as the musical guest, but it turns out the Brit's awards-caliber writing might not extend to this promo.

"It's gonna be mental, innit?" Swift begins her British-slang-filled lines. "Like a randy hen-do -- did you write this?"

"Yeah, sorry. It's too British, isn't it?" Waller-Bridge admits.

"A little bit," Swift says.

Tune in to see the power duo in action Saturday night at 11:35 p.m. ET on NBC, and watch the promo below.
