The very chill, very joking feud between Fiona Apple and Lil Nas X is over.

It all started after Apple's recent interview with Vulture, where she discussed the history of artists sampling her songs. Following the release of the profile, Apple added to her comments via a fansite called Fiona Apple Rocks, where she calls out Lil Nas X's use of her song "Every Single Night" on his “Kim Jong,” which was released pre-“Old Town Road” and doesn’t appear anywhere except his mixtape, Nasarati

“You’re probably really great, but you used my song ‘Every Single Night,’ too," she says in the clip. "You sampled that song, too, in a song called ‘Kim Jong Un,’ I think. And, um, hey … where’s my money, you cute little guy? Where’s my money?”

She later clarified her comments, mentioning that she was "just was being cute, playful and it didn’t come off like that, I guess.”

Following the remarks, Lil Nas X tweeted, “me & fiona apple should do something together for my album.” Apple seems down with the idea, posting another video on Sunday (Sept. 29) to her friend Zelda Hallman’s Twitter account, accepting the offer.

“My friend Zelda just told me that Lil Nas X tweeted that you would like to do something with me? I would love that! This is such a good ending to this little story. I would love that," she says. "I’m not going on social media anymore, by the way, so I’ll get in touch with you personally. Bye.”
