If you thought Lil Nas X’s “Panini” sounded oddly similar to Nirvana’s “In Bloom,” you’re not crazy. The current Billboard cover star tweeted that he interpolated part of the Nirvana classic for his No. 5-ranking hit, thanking Kurt Cobain’s daughter Frances Bean Cobain and crediting the late Nirvana frontman as a songwriter.

In a session in the BBC Radio 1 Live Lounge on Wednesday (Sept. 25), Haim collided both worlds in the ultimate live mash-up of “Panini” and “In Bloom.”

The familiar shallow whistles from “Panini” begin the sister ensemble’s cover, as Danielle Haim takes the lead on Lil Nas X’s vocals with identical trap drums to back her. As she wraps the chorus, the band’s performance seamlessly bleeds into “In Bloom,” jumping right into the middle of its chorus with a more pronounced rock flavor guiding the sisters’ guitar strumming.

Watch HAIM’s “Panini”/“In Bloom” mash-up below.

UPDATE: An earlier version of this article said Alana Haim sang lead when it was in fact her sister Danielle Haim.
