Maggie Rogers performs at Lollapalooza 2019 in Grant Park on August 2, 2019 in Chicago.

Maggie Rogers’ Heard It in a Past Life tour made its way to the Greek Theatre in Los Angeles on Thursday night (Sept. 19), and the night under the stars was enchanting.

Dressed in a white jumpsuit with a butterfly-inspired cape, the songstress sparkled as she belted the tunes off her smash debut album, including the love anthem “Say It,” the high-energy “Burning” and the explosive “Light On.”

The stand out moment of the night was easily the last song of the set, when Rogers stood alone without her band, center stage with an acoustic guitar. She stared up at the sold-out crowd, whose cheers were so roaring, she couldn't help but laugh. The intense moment of gratitude was clearly special for rising star Rogers, who became a skyrocketed sensation following her captivating Saturday Night Live debut in early November 2018.

"Three years ago, I graduated college and I got on the road and had the privilege of starting to play my music for people, and we were eight people in a van. Over the last three years, those eight people, most of them are still on this stage with me, we’re now 22, two buses, two trucks, and I can’t believe I get to play at places like this," she told her adoring fans.

"Back then, I got on stage every night not sure what version of myself I would find. I was really overwhelmed and I was really scared," she continued. "Every time I got on stage, I realized there was a place for my music and these people, all of you, were making me feel so held and that there really was a safe space for me to be vulnerable. I love going to concerts because I love connecting with something bigger than myself, and I love music because I believe it has the power to transport us to that time you wrote the song or to that breakup you heard that song with. And tonight, I keep thinking as I’m having these giant culmination career selling-out the Greek moments, it’s both the end of this really beautiful chapter of growth but also feels like the beginning of so much more. As I’m doing the thing, I keep just wanting to show that version of myself what this looks like and that this is even at all humanly possible."

She ended the emotional tribute to her growth with a stripped-back rendition of the song that started it all, "Alaska."
