The pop star also opened up about her relationship with Orlando Bloom on "Ellen."
Katy Perry is actually really over the bad blood she used to have with Taylor Swift, which she discussed when she dropped by The Ellen DeGeneres Show on Wednesday (Sept. 17). The two songstresses have made amends over what began as a “misunderstanding,” swapping kind gestures and olive branches -- quite literally.
Perry gifted the symbolic vine ahead of Swift's Reputation Tour last May, which led them to start talking again. “And then we started seeing each other out and about, and I just would walk up to her and say, ‘Hey, how are you?’” the “Small Talk” singer recalled. “It’s like we have so much in common, there’s probably only 10 people in the world that have the same things in common. I was like, ‘We should really be friends over that and share our strengths and our weaknesses and our challenges.’”
Not only was it relieving to reconnect with her old friend for their own sake, but it was mature to set an example for their younger fans, whom Perry said turned on each other during her and Swift’s tumultuous feud.
