Tyler Butler-Figueroa performs on America's Got Talent on Aug. 20, 2019.

Tyler Butler-Figueroa brought his A-game to the America’s Got Talent semifinals, and gave viewers some sweet inspiration.

The 11-year-old violinist from North Carolina performed Ariana Grande’s "Break Free" with a gathering of fellow cancer survivors. Full of life and confidence, the youngster bounced around the room like he owned it. By the time he was done, Butler-Figueroa had energized the place.

It was a fine bounce-back performance for Tyler Butler-Figueroa, who knows more than most about bouncing-back from challenges.

At age four, he was diagnosed with leukemia. When his hair began to fall out due to chemotherapy treatment, he endured bullying. Music gave him motivation, and AGT a quest.

Butler-Figueroa has made many fans over the course of his AGT journey and won a golden buzzer in the auditions.
