Pink Floyd co-founder Roger Waters stopped by a pro-Julian Assange rally in London on Monday (Sept. 2), advocating for his release from prison. During the protest, he performed his band's 1975 hit, “Wish You Were Here.”

The Wikileaks founder was arrested in April and charged with conspiring to hack into a Pentagon computer network in 2010. Waters performed behind a banner that reads, "Don't Extradite Assange."

"How do we put ourselves in the position of a Julian Assange in solitary confinement,” the songwriter asked the crowd, “Or with that kid in Syria or Palestine or Rohingya, being blown to bits by these people in this building here?”
