Classical Cellist Covers Slipknot's 'The Devil In I': Watch

Alexandria Crahan-Conway

In a genre crossover we didn't know we needed, a classical cellist has tackled a cover of Slipknot's "The Devil In I."

A YouTube user by the name of SugarCello uploaded a video of his take on the metal smash, nodding the band decked in white masks. The cello is hauntingly beautiful, and adds a gorgeous theatrical element to the tune.

"This project was created with love and was driven by passion," the description reads. "One of the challenges I encountered in the making was to insufflate a more orchestral feel to Slipknot's material."

"The Devil In I" is featured on Slipknot's 2014 fifth album, .5: The Grey Chapter. Check out SugarCello's rendition below.
