Billie Eilish has officially taken over the top spot on the Billboard Hot 100, as "Bad Guy" rises from No. 2 after spending nine total weeks at the runner-up spot.

The accomplishment conquered the longest-leading Hot 100 chart topper of all time, beating Lil Nas X's "Old Town Road," featuring Billy Ray Cyrus' 19-week domination.

Upon hearing the news on Monday (Aug. 19), Lil Nas X had no hard feelings. He took to Twitter to congratulate the 17-year-old songstress. "congratulations to billie eilish!! u deserve this!!" he wrote.

"This is the first week in 5 months old town road hasn’t been number 1. this journey had taught me so much!" he continued on Instagram, before noting that his music video for "Panini" is "coming soon."

Lil Nas also took to Twitter to share a Spongebob GIF and joke, "Me when columbia drop me from the label because billie eilish took the number 1 spot."
