Kacey Musgraves is setting the record straight after an alleged screenshot of her liking Kid Rock's controversial tweet about Taylor Swift and her politics surfaced online.

On Saturday (Aug. 10), the "Rainbow" singer took to Twitter to clarify her feelings on the matter, tweeting at first that her account had been hacked and then posting a message claiming that the screenshot of her liking the tweet -- in which Kid Rock wrote "Taylor Swift wants to be a democrat because she wants to be in movies...period. Looks like she will suck the door knob off Hollyweird to get there" -- was photoshopped.

"Last week I was dragged because of how liberal I am and anyone that knows me knows how outspoken I am about equality & respect," she wrote in a second post, which Swift liked on Twitter. "I've connected with Taylor - she knows this is NOT how I feel and we are cool. That was a manipulated image, (I don't even follow Kid Rock), and I would NEVERRR support any message promoting such disgusting misogyny."

Check out that message, as well as Musgraves' tweet about being hacked, below.
