Sabrina Claudio's latest single "Holding the Gun," released on Wednesday (July 31), is a seductive R&B tune about infinite devotion, no matter what.

"I'll make excuses/And I'll keep all your secrets/I will take your bullets/Even if it were you holding the gun," she seductively croons over the enchanting melody complete with soaring harmonies.

"Holding The Gun symbolizes loyalty and an everlasting type of love,” Claudio said of the tune in a press statement. “I wanted to make sure that showing violence was not a factor within the visual as violence, conceptually, isn’t what the song is about. The blood and insinuation of crime represents the lengths one would go when so deeply in love.”

The accompanying music video does just that. The cinematic vignette follows a Bonnie & Clyde type of romance, as the songstress and her lover share an intimate yet bloodied embrace after robbing a store.

This fall, Claudio will embark on her North American Truth Is Tour, which kicks off Sept. 21 at The Wiltern in Los Angeles and stretches through early November. See ticket information here.
