Iceland’s population is tiny, but its music scene is freakishly impressive. Think Sigur Rós, Sugarcubes, Bjork and the multiplatinum quintet Of Monsters And Men, who mark their return today with Fever Dream.
Co-produced by Rich Costey (Vampire Weekend, Chvrches), the new album features the single “Alligator,” which earlier this month completed a nine- week climb to the top of Billboard’s Adult Alternative Songs chart (they've nabbed three other leaders on that survey).
Fever Dream is the indie-rock outfit's third studio album and the followup to 2015's Beneath the Skin, which opened at a career-best No. 3 on the Billboard 200 and has earned more than 352,000 equivalent album units to date. A full-scale tour kicks off in early September.
