In August, ZZ Top will be celebrating their 50th anniversary as a band with a North American tour. Ahead of the cross-continent stint, a documentary titled That Little Ol’ Band From Texas will highlight the group's decades long career.

In a new trailer released on Thursday (July 25), features snippets of interviews with all three members of the band: Billy Gibbons, Frank Beard and Dusty Hill. The film will also include never-before-seen footage and a performance at the oldest dance hall in Texas that was shot for the documentary.

“They’re unique, they’re eccentric. When you would see them onstage, it was like seeing Bugs Bunny in person," famous fan Billy Bob Thornton is heard saying in the minute-long teaser.

ZZ Top: That Little Ol’ Band From Texas will premiere Aug. 13 at the Cinerama Dome in Hollywood, and will hit select theaters this fall. Watch the trailer below.
