Jessie James Decker attends the 54th Academy Of Country Music Awards at MGM Grand Hotel & Casino on April 7, 2019 in Las Vegas.

During ABC’s live broadcast of Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve With Ryan Seacrest just after midnight on Jan. 1, 2020, a special drawing will crown one lucky person the First Powerball Millionaire of the Year. Dick Clark Productions and Powerball announced Thursday (July 25) that country star Jessie James Decker will reveal the winner.

“I am so thrilled to be a part of this incredible life-changing moment on one of the most iconic shows on television!” said Decker, who will be providing live updates from the First Powerball Millionaire of the Year party throughout the telecast. “There’s someone out there who will become a millionaire overnight live on New Year’s Eve and I can’t wait to celebrate with them.”

Eligible players must purchase tickets from 25 participating jurisdictions to enter their Powerball tickets into the First Powerball Millionaire of the Year second-chance drawings. More than 300 winners from those jurisdictions will win VIP trips to New York City and celebrate New Year’s Eve 2020, plus a chance to randomly win the $1 million.

All second-chance prize winners will enjoy a NYC theater performance and a holiday cruise on the Hudson River with dinner and entertainment. The experience also includes round-trip airfare, hotel accommodations and an exclusive New Year’s Eve gala at the Crowne Plaza Hotel, featuring live entertainment, including a performance by Decker, and prime viewing of the Times Square ball drop.
