Beyonce and Blue Ivy Carter attend the premiere of Disney's "The Lion King" at Dolby Theatre on July 9, 2019 in Hollywood, Calif.

Beyoncé and her daughter Blue Ivy have started the latest social media challenge with the song "Brown Skin Girl" from The Lion King: The Gift, Beyoncé's compilation album to go along with the new live-action Disney film.

Also featuring SAINt JHN and Wizkid, the song begins with its chorus: "Brown skin girl/ Your skin just like pearls/ The best thing in the world/ Never trade you for anybody else."

Seven-year-old Blue Ivy's precious voice can be heard throughout the song, adding a sentimental tone to the track, especially when Beyoncé sings "If ever you are in doubt, remember what mama told you."

The #BrownSkinGirlChallenge blew up on Twitter over the weekend of July 20, with thousands sharing selfies in celebration, oftentimes quoting the song's lyrics.
