It’s Iggy vs the Piggy, the stoush no–one saw coming.

In the small hours of Friday morning, Iggy Azalea finally released her sophomore record, In My Defense. But it didn't drop without drama.

Earlier in the week, the Aussie rapper spotted trouble when Peppa Pig announced her own, debut album would arrive at precisely the same time. Yes, that Peppa Pig.

Iggy didn’t let it go. She hammed it up with a tweet, "It’s over for me now.” To which the piglet responded, "Peppa's so fancy, you already know," alongside a GIF of her wearing a crown and checking it all out in the mirror.

It then got meaty. "Collab with me now or you’ll end up a breakfast special peppa," Iggy wrote.

Sure, it's not exactly a beef. But it’s not a fair fight either. For starters, Peppa is a cartoon character. And her global empire, as The Guardian points out, is worth more than a billboard dollars.

Who will bring home the bacon?
