The Black Keys fans might recognize 65-year-old Robert Finley from Dan Auerbach's Easy Eye Sound Revue tour, and from Auerbach's sophomore album Goin’ Platinum!.

Now, Finley is pursuing his own solo passion by auditioning for America's Got Talent. He talked about his childhood in Louisiana before his performance, discussing his days working on a farm playing music and serving in the Vietnam War. A few years ago, he found out he was going blind, and now he can't see almost entirely.

Regardless, Finley took the stage with a smile and positive attitude, and delved into a soulful original, "Get It While You Can," complete with corresponding dance moves and rocking leather pants.

The joyful performance was met with a standing ovation. "I actually liked you before you started singing because you've got this great soul about you," Simon Cowell told the singer. "The finest wines are the ones that stay in storage for a few years--and that's how I feel about your voice."
